Both squads received the Superior Team Award for excellent ratings the entire week and they received the “top banana” award the first day at camp for being the most spirited program.

They won the most coveted award at camp, the Leadership Award. As the winners of the Leadership Award they received an invitation to travel to Florida to participate in the pre-game performance of the Capitol One Bowl.

Cheerleaders Win 6th at National in Orlando 2001
|
The Varsity placed higher than any other Texas small varsity squad. They placed 6th out of 68 other teams at the UCA National Competition in Orlando, Florida.
